Sukhman joined the Abbotsford Division of Family Practice in 2026 as a Provider Engagement Coordinator and brings a background in health-care administration and clinical operations. She is currently completing an online Bachelor of Arts in Public Health at the University of Victoria, where her studies focus on health systems, primary care access, and community health.
Before joining the Division, Sukhman worked as a Unit Clerk at BC Cancer Surrey, supporting multidisciplinary care teams and coordinating complex treatment schedules in a busy oncology environment. She has also worked in primary care as a Medical Office Assistant, supporting physicians and clinic teams with patient scheduling, electronic medical records, and day-to-day clinic coordination. In addition to health-care settings, she has experience in several administrative environments where she supported operations, coordinated projects, and assisted teams with organizational and communication needs. Through these experiences, Sukhman developed a strong passion for strengthening health-care systems and improving access, coordination, and navigation for patients.
Outside of work, she enjoys baking and experimenting with new recipes, spending time with family and friends, and connecting with others through networking and conversations about careers and professional journeys.
