The Central Fraser Valley Transit System serves Abbotsford and Mission areas with connections to the Aldergrove, Chilliwack, Langley, and the West Coast Express.

While there are no documented plans to extend commuter rail systems out to Abbotsford and other parts of the Fraser Valley, this is part of the BC Ministry of Transportation’s long-term plan. While it may not help your commute in the short term, this type of investment in the region bodes well for long term property values and quality of life.

The West Coast Express is a commuter railway serving The Lower Mainland Region of British Columbia, Canada.

It provides a link between Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley Regional District and is the only commuter railway in Western Canada. Service is provided between Downtown Vancouver and the municipalities of Port Moody, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge, and Mission. Along its route, several stations interchange with the SkyTrain metropolitan rail system as well as local bus services.

In addition to access to Vancouver, the USA and the Lower Mainland, Abbotsford also boasts an International Airport that offers flight options to many North American and International destinations.
