HR Corner: What to Do After You Terminate an Employee

Introducing two new templates to streamline your HR processes: the Offboarding Checklist and the Return of Clinic Property Form. The offboarding checklist ensures a smooth and comprehensive transition for departing employees, covering all necessary steps from final meetings to exit interviews. This helps maintain professionalism and consistency, reducing potential risks and ensuring a positive departure experience. The return of clinic property form simplifies the process of retrieving clinic assets, ensuring that all items are accounted for and returned in good condition. Utilizing these templates not only enhances operational efficiency but also protects clinic resources and maintains clear communication during employee transitions.

Community and Events

Do you know anyone from Abbotsford currently studying medicine or entering medical school this fall? Forward them this edition of the Pulse so they can register!

We would like to invite them to join us for a casual evening of conversation and an opportunity to know more about the physician community in Abbotsford.

Leaving your home community can be hard and we want to provide the opportunity to build connections to Abbotsford even when studying abroad or in other parts of Canada.

If you know a student who might be interested in attending, please feel free to share this invitation with them, or simply let us know, and we will extend the invitation ourselves.

If you’d like to share your experience as an IMG or you have an interest in connecting with the next generation of physicians, we look forward to seeing you there!
